Bryce's Crab Boil recipe


Crab Boil Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Snow Crab legs

  • 2 celery stalk (chopped)

  • 1/2 pound shrimp

  • 1/2 white onion chopped

  • Bay leaves

  • 3-4 kielbasa sausages (quartered)

  • 2-3 corn on the cob (halved)

  • 5-6 small red potat

  • o (halved or quartered)

  • 1tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1-2 tsp garlic power

  • 1-2 tsp chili powder

  • 1-2 tsp cumin

  • 1-3 tbsp Tony Chachere's Bold creole seasoning

  • 2-3 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

Dipping Sauce:

  • 4 sticks of butter

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2-3 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

  • 1-2 tsp Tony Chachere's Bold creole seasoning

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1-2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar


Preparation:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil with all the mentioned seasonings under "Crab Boil recipe" (enough to hold crab and the rest of the ingredients in).

  2. In a pan, sauté sausage, onion, and butter until brown.

  3. Once the water starts to boil, slightly reduce the heat and add in the crab, sausage, onion, celery, corn and potato.

  4. While the crab cooks, put the 4 sticks of butter and seasonings mentioned under "Dipping Sauce" in a sauce pan and cook until butter is fully melted and everything is incorporated.

  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes and stir periodically to ensure the water does not boil over.

  6. Move into a serving dish to cool and enjoy!!
