Candy Cane Cookies


Ingredient:

  • 1/2 cup softened butter

  • 1/2 cup shortening

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup crushed candy canes

  • white chocolate chips

Preparation:

  1. Preheat over to 350F degrees

  2. In a large bowl beat together butter, shortening, white sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.

  3. Mix in peppermint extract and vanilla extract & one egg at a time.

  4. Mix in the banking soda, flour, and salt. (Do stick test to see if dough still sticks to your finger, if so add more flour)

  5. Mix in crushed candy canes & white chocolate chips.

  6. Roll dough into balls and place on parchment paper or sprayed pans

  7. Bake until golden brown

  8. Enjoy!
